We had a blast working with our friends at Google on this video, which stars all Google employees. While we are accustomed to being in the driver’s seat for the creative on our music videos (lyrics, instrumentals, performers), this campaign gave us the opportunity to realize the vision of Google employees Matt Kane and Ranidu Lankage, who wrote and performed the lyrics and music. A lot of time marketing is about hiring professional actors and manicuring an image to project; it was refreshing to work on a project that embraced the authentic culture and talent that already exists within a company and let it run wild.
This video also gave us the opportunity to listen to Christmas music for 72 hours, deck the fireplace with reindeer stockings, and string some tinsel and lights on a nice Fir. Can you tell we are pumped for the holidays?? (we listen to a lot of Charlie Brown Christmas in the office).
